"Heartbeats" is an upcoming visual music film co-written by Cameron Kostopoulos & Israel Gomez.
An elderly hospice patient must re-learn what it means to be human before he is able to let go. Shot in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio, Heartbeats utilizes the vertical format to tell the story of one man's journey to break free. As an exploration in vertical filmmaking, the film hopes to challenge conventional rules of composition and storytelling, while simultaneously making itself accessible to audiences in a postmodern world.
